One of our speakers for this event is Michell Cartwright from L&I. And the subject is STAY AT WORK PROGRAM and all of the associated benefits and incentives. Very interesting and important to all of us running companies. Here is an extract in her own words:-

“I will be speaking about the Stay at Work Program, a new financial incentive program for State Fund employers, being offered through Labor and Industries. I will go over the reimbursements that employers can qualify for and what the requirements are to receive the reimbursements.  I will answer any questions that the audience has about the program and explain how employers can utilize the program as efficiently as possible.”

Our other speaker is going to be DeAnna Burnett Keener, she is the Director of the Small Business Assistance Center at the Green River Community College. She will speak for about 30 minutes on what the community center can provide by way of training and free assistance. They are currently developing a series of short workshops to assist our business leaders who would like the benefit of their expertise. I have visited their facilities and they are very professional and exceedingly well equipped for us to benefit from their experience.
